Team Canada
The IFAF World Championship has been held every four years since 1999. Canada’s Sr. Men’s National Team competed at the 2011 World Championship in Vienna, Austria. Canada went head-to-head against the United States in the gold medal game, but fell 50-7 claiming a silver medal. Canada did not compete at the 2015 World Championship in Canton, OH.
IFAF Senior Men's World Championship is the international championship in Senior Men's Tackle football, organized by International Federation of American Football.
The tournament starts with qualifier games to determine seeding and teams participating at the IFAF World Championship. The IFAF World Championship follows a round robin style format which is then followed by a medal round. At the end of the tournament the top teams are rewarded with Bronze (3rd), Silver (2nd) or Gold (1st).
The IFAF Football World Championship is held every four years in different
countries. Canada’s Senior Men's National Team last competed at the IFAF World Championship in 2011 where they had finished second.

Canada’s Men's Senior Tackle Football Team will look to represent
our Country on the International stage at the IFAF Senior Men's
World Championship scheduled for Germany.
These Team Canada athletes that are on the roster will have proven themselves at various ID camps held from coast to coast to
coast. They have competed at all levels of football within Canada and abroad.
Now they look to prove themselves against the best players in the world and prepare for the #RoadtoGold.
It all begins 2025!!!
The IFAF World Championship is scheduled to take place in Germany in the summer of 2025. In order to qualify, Canada will play a qualifier game vs. the Mexican National Team in January 2025
